A crash in London Road caused early morning traffic problems in the North Cheam area.
Buses were forced to take diversions following the incident that happened during Wednesday, June 3, rush hour.
One witness reported seeing a police van, police car, ambulance and a Transport For London van at the scene as well as sand in the road.
The witness said the said was "to cover an oil leak".
One side of the road was blocked and traffic directed by a policeman.
TFL has since said the road has reopened and bus routes have returned to normal.
Route 293 has now resumed serving London Road, North Cheam following an earlier traffic incident. CLEARED
