The incident took place outside Brasserie Vacherin
A man has been arrested following a racially aggravated assault outside a French restaurant.
Police arrested a 50-year-old following the assault outside Brasserie Vacherin on Sutton High Street around 1.15pm and was then taken into custody.
A spokesperson for the police said London Ambulance Service medics were treating the man before the police arrived, but was unable to comment on the condition of the victim of the alleged assault.
