A woman was taken to hospital with leg injuries following a two-car collision in Wallington.

Police were alerted by the London Ambulance Service at 4.36pm Monday to a report that two cars had collided at the junction of Stafford Road, Plough Lane and Mollison Drive.

When officers arrived they found a Mitsubishi and Fiat had crashed.

A woman in her 50s was taken to St Helier hospital for treatment for leg and ankle injuries and the driver of one of the cars, a woman, was reported for driving without due care and attention.

A second woman may be summoned to court at a later date.
