Hundreds packed into Sutton High Street on Saturday to see former Liberty X singer Michelle Heaton turn on the borough's lights.
The pop singer joined Sutton mayor Councillor Muhammad Sadiq in the town centre where they will turned on the lights at about 6pm.
Suttonites dressed warmly in the High Street.
But the cold didn't dampen the borough's spirits.
This chap brought his own lights to the show.
Enjoying the occasion so much they forgot to look at the camera.
