An office that works with vulnerable families was set fire to in a suspected arson attack last night.
Fire fighters from Mitcham were called to Thornton Road, Carshalton at about 10.30pm last night.
Two fire engines took almost two hours to put out the fire.
No one was in the office at the time.
A Mitcham firefighter said: “We investigated and found the back window smashed and petrol at the back, which makes us think it was arson.”
A Metropolitan Police spokesman said that officers from Sutton were investigating.
