Former Greenshaw High School pupils returned to their old classrooms to inspire the school's current crop.
The high school alumni returned to chat to current pupils about employability as part of Greenshaw's back to school week.
Future First led the nationwide campaign that saw former state school pupils return to their schools to talk about their careers.
Mr Moore, a former Greenshaw pupil and director of an engineering firm, said, "I never had opportunities like these at school so it took me a while to figure out what I wanted to do.
"It’s fantastic to be able to give back like this and let the students learn from our experiences and importantly our mistakes.
"This is so valuable to equip them with some of the tools that will help them in the future."
According to YouGov polling by Future First pupils from state schools are up to ten times more likely to think people who went to their schools don't succeed in the world of work compared to students from private schools.
Christine Gilbert, Future First Executive Chair, Christine Gilbert said: "Every state school student should have the opportunity to succeed in life after school, regardless of their background.
"Many schools are already harnessing the skills and experience of alumni as role models who inspire and motivate current students"
