Southern trains will be travelling slower than usual today after putting speed restrictions in place, due to gale force winds from Storm Imogen.
Passengers are being advised to expect delays between 11am and 5pm on Monday, February 8.
Forecasters are predicting winds in excess of 70mph across southern England today.
A statement on Southern’s website read: “With the strength of the winds expected, railway infrastructure could be damaged as sever winds can blow debris and trees onto tracks and damage equipment and signals.”
