Twenty-one firefighters tackled a blaze at a house in Sutton earlier this morning.
Five people were evacuated from the three-storey house, in Victoria Road just after midnight.
There were no reports of any injuries.
Firefighters in four fire engines from Wallington, Sutton and Mitcham arrived to put out the fire at shortly after 12.14am and brought it under control by 1.06am.
Part of the ground floor and the first floor was damaged in the blaze, as well as a vehicle that was nearby.
It is understood that the fire was caused by a discarded cigarette.
