A former Chelsea groundsman who died after he was attacked outside his home in Wallington had tributes paid to him during a home game at Stamford Bridge.
Carl O’Brien, 55, was attacked in a communal stairwell in a block of flats in 12, Vanguard Way on Saturday, December 3.
He died in hospital two days before Christmas after suffering a brain haemorrhage.
Fans applauded Mr O’Brien, also known as Wurzel, during the 55th minute of the blue’s 2-0 win over Hull on Sunday, January 22.
A banner was also unfurled reading “RIP Carl ‘Wurzel’ O’Brien”.
A post on Chelsea's Twitter account said: "The Chelsea fans rise to applaud on 55 minutes for a fellow well-known supporter Wurzel who has died at the age. #CHEHUL"

His funeral is expected to be held next month.
