A severe weather warning for ice and fog has been issued again for London by the Met office.
The yellow warning, which includes London and south England, follows on from Monday 23 January when around 100 flights were cancelled at Heathrow airport due to freezing fog.
The warning states: “Areas of freezing fog, some dense, are expected to form again during Tuesday evening and last into Wednesday morning. The fog will become more widespread through the night, with icy patches on untreated roads and paths an additional hazard.”
The Met Office added that travelling conditions will be difficult and will take longer than usual.
Temperatures in London are expected to drop to 1°C overnight.
