A cyclist who was hit by a vehicle in Twickenham has been taken to hospital "as a priority".
The man was hit by a car in Richmond Road, near to the Shell petrol station, at about 12.40pm.
An ambulance crew treated a man for head and arm injuries, and he was taken to hospital.
Police officers said they await an update on his condition.
The road has been closed in both directions, and the 33, 490, H22 and R70 buses have been diverted.
