An Orpington man has been arrested and bailed after a fatal collision on the M20.

Kent Police was called to the scene, between junction four and three London-bound, at about 3.35pm on Saturday, March 4.

The South East Coast Ambulance Service and Kent Fire and Rescue Service also attended.

The collision is reported to involve two vehicles, a black Volkswagen Touareg and a grey Toyota Corolla.

The Corolla is reported to have been travelling on the wrong side of the carriageway in the moments leading up to the collision.

One man, a passenger of this vehicle, died at the scene.

The driver, a 37-year-old man from Orpington, was arrested and has been bailed pending further enquiries until June 12.

A Kent Police spokesman said: “Officers would like to speak with anyone who saw the Corolla in the moments leading up to the collision, or who may have dash cam footage.
