A ten-year-old boy has been taken to hospital after a motorbike crashed into him this morning.
The motorcyclist has also been taken to a hospital in south London following the crash in London Road near the junction with Whitehall Road at 8.05am.
The injuries are not thought to be life-threatening and no arrests have been made, the Metropolitan Police stated.
London Road was closed both ways and traffic was queueing but has now cleared, Traffic England had advised.
There are reportedly still delays on neighbouring roads.
The Croydon Guardian has contacted the London Ambulance Service for further information.
