Nathaniel Wood, who became the first Cage Warriors MMA world champion from London earlier this month, will defend his crown on September 16 at the 02 Arena.
The mixed martial artist, who does some of his training out of Raptures Martial Arts School in Sutton, will fight Josh Reed next.
Wood claimed the title via a first round stoppage against former champion Marko Kovacevic to make history.
After the bout he told Sutton Guardian: “I want to defend my title many times.
“The main goal would to become UFC champion and to obviously make enough money to support my family and be comfortable. I want to represent my country on the highest platform which would be the UFC.”
The 24 year old has a record of 11 wins and three defeats.
“This belt will not leave London,” Wood wrote on his Twitter page.
