Magnet has opened a kitchen showroom on Sutton High Street and it features an unusual high-tech gizmo.

The showroom, which opened yesterday (June 26) is comprised of “never before seen digital design tools” including the “UK’s first virtual reality 3D kitchen modeller”.

Customers will have the opportunity to be involved in the design process by using the showrooms interactive features.

A welcome area will greet customers and a quiz will be available to be completed with the answers providing a mood board that will guide people on the best style for them.

An interactive display encourages people to use an iPad to change the colour and style of the room such as the worktops in a life sized kitchen and in high definition.

The UK’s first 3D kitchen modeller is one of the most exciting features that Magnet has introduced. Customers can produce a design and have a 360 degree view of their kitchen of choice using a virtual reality headset.

Abbi-Rose Baalam, manager at the new Magnet Sutton showroom, said: “We are really excited to open the new showroom with the unique, innovative format to our customers. There are several areas within the showroom to view that we know will be massively beneficial to customers in their selection and design process.

“What’s more, visitors to the new showroom can take advantage of our summer sale offers until 29 July.”
