A Banstead care home celebrated national Seafarers Awareness Week by opening its doors to welcome members of the public.
Guests had the chance to view the Royal Alfred Seafarers’ Society’s facilities – including its bar, salon, specialised dementia annexe and extensive grounds – last week.
Children from Woodmansterne Primary School led a sing-along with the residents, and listened to stories of their nautical experiences.
