Multiple caravans have reportedly set up camp in a car park in North Cheam.
Richard Johnson, who runs a Worcester Park community Facebook group, said: “Several North Cheam residents have reported the appearance of a cluster of caravans on the derelict Victoria House site.
“I can confirm this, having seen several through the restricted view of the gates. I also spoke to one of the owners, who informed me that the intention was ‘to stay there for a few days’. There is also a notice displayed on the gates, originating from the Advisory Service for Squatters.”
Victoria House has been a derelict site for 20 years.
