A Sutton charity for people with a terminal illness is holding a quiz night later this year.
All proceeds will support St. Raphael’s Hospice as they commemorate their 30th anniversary.
The HG Wells pub on Cheam Road will host the quiz night on November 9 from 7.30pm.
St Raphael’s first opened in 1987 in Sutton and Merton.
On October 13 at Surrey Downs Golf Club, Outwood Lane in Kingswood, the charity is also hosting a golf day.
A statement read: “We will be organising a shotgun start at 9am so that players can come in quite close together and avoid too much waiting around at the end of the round. There will be tea/coffee and bacon rolls available before tee-off, and a seated two-course meal once all the golfers are back in.
“There will be first and second place team and hole competition winners prizes available, alongside the ever popular raffle.
“The cost for a team of 4 will be £240 – which will ensure tea/coffee and bacon roll, a round of golf and a 2-course sit down meal, whilst also helping support the vital work of St Raphael’s.”
Tickets for the quiz night in November are £5 per person and can be purchased by emailing Sue Richards on suetoperu@gmail.com
Winners will receive prizes and a raffle will be conducted on the night.
