After months of speculation, Specsavers has confirmed the opening of their new store in Worcester Park will be on Monday, September 11.
The store - based on 103 Central Road – has had £250,000 worth of investment to accommodate modern innovations and equipment.
Jonathan Butterworth, one of eight directors, said: “We will be committed to providing a high level of professional service and fashionable designer frames at very good prices to local residents.
“Our new store will include three eye examination testing rooms and a hearing service, and all the latest technology and equipment.”
The team of eight directors believe Worcester Park residents will “benefit strongly” from an increase of health services.
A variety of designer brands will include an exclusive Kylie Minogue Eyewear collection, Pierre Carden, Hackett, Timberland and Cath Kidston.
Children can also choose from Disney and Minion collections.
A Digital Precision Eyecare system for calculating facial measurements that ensures glasses have suitable lenses for different vision and lifestyle needs will be in house.
This latest optical technology will be operated from a hand-held tablet.
According to the opticians, more than one in three people who wear glasses in the UK purchase them from Specsavers.
