GP Surgeries in Sutton provide “exceptional care” to patients throughout the borough, NHS Sutton Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) has announced.

They reported that all GP surgeries in the borough meet standards set out by the Care Quality Commission (CQC).

Each GP surgery in Sutton was rated as “Good” with Robin Hood Lane Health Centre in Sutton and Dr Scott’s Practice at the GP Centre in Cheam both receiving a score of “Outstanding”.

Dr Jeffrey Croucher, Clinical Chair of Sutton CCG, said: “We are delighted that the CQC has recognised all the hard work done by GPs to continually improve.

“We would like to thank the GPs for their collaborative approach to working with the CCG and their commitment to openness and responding to feedback.

“We would also like to thank all the practice nurses, practice managers and administration staff; GP's cannot do what they do without a strong support team around them.”

The CQC monitor five categories which are safety, effectiveness, care, responsiveness and leadership.
