A Wallington drug dealer who had a street drugs valued at almost £40,000 has been jailed for three-and-a-half years.
Asif Ahmed, 26, was sentenced at Croydon Crown Court on October 4 after being found guilty of possession of heroin with intent to supply as well as assaulting police officers and money laundering.
Sgt Sarah Tynan, of the Beddington South Safer Neighbourhood Team, said officers had executed two drugs warrants at properties in Wallington's Roundshaw Estate in August.
She said: "At one address police seized a quantity of cannabis. At the other address we seized 1,200 rocks believed to be crack cocaine, a large quantity of heroin, drugs cutting agents and other drugs paraphernalia and £10,800 in cash.
"The drugs street value is expected to be 30 to £40,000 pounds.
