A new exhibition highlighting the importance of town centres as London's population grows features two of Sutton's major development plans.

The London's Towns: Shaping the Polycentric City exhibition will run until the new year with The London Cancer Hub and Sutton's Town Centre Masterplan both being featured.

New London Architecture (NLA) is the organisation hosting the gallery at The Building Centre in Bloomsbury.

The latest NLA study demonstrates central London being increasingly unaffordable as the population keeps growing, resulting in more people and businesses settling in places such as Sutton.

Sutton's Town Centre Masterplan is a 15 year project which includes recommendations and projects regarding the future of the borough's town centre.

The London Cancer Hub is a cancer research campus which is predicted to create over 13,000 jobs. Sutton Council and the Institute of Cancer Research have partnered up to establish the project.
