A fundraiser has started in memory of a Sutton Councillor who passed away last month aged just 45.
Cllr Adrian Davey was first elected to serve the residents of Stonecot Ward in May 2010.
The JustGiving page is raising money for St. Raphael’s Hospice - a palliative care provider in North Cheam for terminally ill patients.
A statement on the fundraising page reads: “According to Adrian's wishes, we ask that, instead of floral tributes, a monetary donation is given to St. Raphael's Hospice.”
Some tributes from donators include, “Thank you to St. Raphael’s staff for all the care that they give to their patients,” “I will miss our random chats about football and your kind words” and “The world is a worse place without you in it Adrian."

Last month Liberal Democrat campaigner, Amna Ahman, told Sutton Guardian: “He was a passionate, caring and kind man who did so much for his community and for the most vulnerable in our area.
"I will miss his amusing insights, smiles and laughter in particular. At this most difficult of times we are all thinking of his wife and young daughters, and ask for their privacy so they have time and space to grieve."
