A Tooting Bec teenager has denied murder charges after the fatal stabbing of Omid Saidy in Parsons Green last year.
Police were called to reports of three males who were stabbed in an area surrounding Parsons Green tube station at around 7.40pm on October 16.
Officers attended the incident with the London Ambulance Service and found three men to have suffered from injuries, however Mr Saidy was pronounced dead almost an hour later at 8.30pm.
Shafiq Smith, 18, of Brudenell Road in Tooting Bec pleaded not guilty to murder, attempted murder, and threatening a person with a bladed article when he appeared before judges at the Old Bailey on January 9.
He was alongside a 17-year-old boy who also denied murder as well as threatening a person with a blade or sharply pointed article in a public place.
Both will appear again at the Old Bailey on April 16.
