A Cheam nursery has raised funds for Sport Relief after teaming up with Cbeebies characters with the aim of supporting disadvantaged people.

Busy Bees Nursery, on Cheam Park, hosted a Go Go Disco with TV stars ‘The Go Jetters’ which involved parents joining in on the fun.

A total of £22 was raised, with the sum going towards those who are living tough lives both across the United Kingdom and in some of the world’s poorest countries.

Nursery manager Jo Gregoire said: “The children really loved joining the Go Jetters for a Go-Go Disco. Fifteen children helped to raise £22 for Sport Relief.

“Dancing is great for young children’s development; it stimulates the brain and helps to unlock their imagination and curiosity.

“It’s all part of giving children the best start in life and it makes it even more special that this event helped raise valuable money for Sport Relief.”
