A home in Carshalton has been damaged after a fire broke out in it earlier this week.

The London Fire Brigade was called to the property in Wrythe Lane at around 8.47pm on June 12.

Half of the first floor of an end-of-terraced house was damaged by the blaze as 21 firefighters rushed to the incident.

A LFB spokesman said there were no reports of any injuries.

The blaze was under control shortly before 9.30pm while the cause of it is currently under investigation.
