Sutton Council has been forced to step in again after a group of travellers set up camp within an area of Poulter Park.
Several vehicles parked across an area of green space have been spotted by residents, while the council was made aware at 8am today (July 9).
A council spokesman confirmed the group of travellers who previously set up camp in Beddington Park have also now left the area.
In a tweet, Cllr Hanna Zuchowska said: “We’ve been made aware this morning of an illegal traveller encampment on Poulter Park.
“Sutton Council officers are currently working to peacefully move the encampment on. Updates to follow.”
