Talented identical triplets from Sutton are celebrating after they achieved top marks in their travel and tourism studies.

Rachel, Rebekah, and Sarah White are all smiles after they were awarded triple distinctions in their BTEC Level 3 Subsidiary Diploma in Travel and Tourism this month.

The sisters, who study at Kingston College, were praised by their lecturer Victoria Wright following the success.

She said: “Sarah, Rachel and Rebekah have shown absolutely outstanding commitment to their studies.

“They have achieved excellent grades throughout each module and their efforts have been brilliant. Their coursework is outstanding. Their punctuality and attendance are also outstanding.

“These are very talented students who have demonstrated excellence throughout.”

Alongside academic success, the White sisters also take artwork commissions – such as prints, greeting cards, and postcards – from their website Art by Three.

And it follows after they had their artworks of the family were put on display at the Corner Gallery in Carshalton Beeches in 2013.

Then aged 12, the home-schooled triplets took classes from their artist grandfather before their pieces were featured at the gallery in Beeches Avenue.

At the time, mum Karen White said: “Their granddad started teaching them about 18 months ago and, as it has turned out, they are pretty good.

“It must be in the genes.

“They do their own individual work, but they all put their heads together for group pieces as well. They are obviously on the same wavelength.”

The trio have also spoken about the “great experience” at Kingston College while having undertaken work placements at British Airways and The Crowne Plaza.

“These placements really provided us with valuable contacts and opportunities for our future employment and career path.”

They now have plans for the coming year to explore both Europe and America.
