Two men who raped a 17-year-old girl they met through Tinder and shared pictures following the attack have been jailed.

Montell Moore, 22, and Sofian Zoberi, 23, both from Brentford, were put behind bars for a combined 20 years after sentencing at Isleworth Crown Court.

Former Charlton Athletic and Brentford footballer Moore met the victim, then 17, in the early hours of March 12, 2016 after arranging to meet up on the dating app Tinder.

He picked her up at a bus stop before taking her to Zoberi's house in Hounslow where they had consensual sex in the living room.

Moore recorded the encounter on his phone despite the victim asking him not to.

She was then forced into further sexual acts without giving consent before being taken upstairs where Moore introduced her to Zoberi.

After the victim demanded to be left alone, Zoberi forced himself on her before she was sexually assaulted.

The rapists were arrested three days later after the police were called soon after the attack.

Detective Constable Jonny Norman, of the Met Police's child abuse and sexual offences command, said: "I would like to commend the victim, who is young woman and has endured not only a serious ordeal at the hands of Moore and Zoberi, but a very difficult and challenging time during the trial too.

"We are pleased to have secured this verdict which will, I hope, give courage to other victims of sexual assault to come forward to police and be assured that we will thoroughly investigate."

Moore was sentenced to 11 years and six months' in prison after being found guilty of rape and sexual assault.

Zoberi was sentenced to eight years and six months, also for rape and sexual assault.

Both men had previously pleaded guilty to taking indecent images of a child and distributing indecent images of a child.

They will also be placed on the sex offenders register for life.
