SUFFOLK ROAD, SOUTH NORWOOD TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF PEDESTRIAN TRAFFIC
1. Croydon Council, HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that to facilitate building works to a development they have made an Order the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit pedestrian movements in Suffolk Road, South Norwood.
2. Whilst the said works are taking place no person shall proceed along the public footway, which lies on the north-west side of Suffolk Road, from a point 20.00 metres north-east of the north-eastern kerb-line of St Dunstan's Road north-eastward for a distance of 30.00 metres.
3. Whilst the Order remains in force the alternative route for traffic affected by the closure will be via the opposite footway.
4. The Order will come into operation on 5 November 2007 and it is anticipated that the works will be carried out in 18 months. (Vehicular access will be maintained.)
