How Palace rated against the Hornets.
Julian Speroni - Got beaten at his near post for opener - but no chance with King's strike. 6.
Lee Hills - Senior debut for the 17-year-old and looked understandbly nervous. Got caught out a little for the opener. Definitely one for the future. 6.
Mark Hudson - Defended well against King and Henderson but Hornets front-paring had too much firepower. Man of the match. 7.
Jose Fonte - Sound defensively - but distribution leaves a lot to be desired. 6.
Matt Lawrence - Given a torrid time by Johnson all night. 5.
Franck Songo'o - Promising debut. Looked dangerous in patches, particularly in first-half, but lacked an end product. 6.
Ben Watson - Tried to get dictate play but didn't get on the ball as much as he would have liked 6.
Carl Fletcher - Outmuscled in middle of the park - but gave his all. 6.
Jeff Hughes - Ineffective display down the left. Palace future could be in jeopardy. 5.
James Scowcroft - Led the line well as ever - but didn't really pose a goal threat. 6.
Dougie Freedman - Struggled put his stamp of class on the game. 5 Subs.
Besian Idrizaj (replaced Freedman, 65) - Shows flashes of promise but doesn't do enough. 5.
John Bostock (replaced Watson, 71) - Only 15 but looked like he's been in the first team for years. So talented. 7.
Clinton Morrison (replaced Hughes, 71) - No chances as Watford killed the game. 5.
