Kingston College is hosting a prestigious exhibition of British artist Henry Moore's original signed etchings, lithographs and textiles - plus an inspirational elephant's skull.

The college's Penny School Gallery in Richmond Road has worked with the Royal Botanical Gardens in Kew, currently hosting a landmark display of 28 large Henry Moore sculptures, to put on the exhibition.

Rosemary Williams, director of the Penny School Gallery, said: "It is so exciting to have an exhibition of this calibre at Kingston College to inspire our students."

Thirty two pieces of Henry Moore's work will be on display, on loan from Marlborough Graphics, including Animals in the Zoo, the Reclining Figure and Promethee.

There will also be two examples of his textiles, loaned by Francesca Galloway, a leading Mayfair textiles gallery.

The exhibition will provide an insight into the wide range of subject matter which inspired Moore, including a large elephant skull and a display of bones, stones and shells.

The exhibition will be open until November 24 on Tuesdays to Saturdays between 11am and 4pm, and by appointment only at all other times.
