Police are hunting for a man after a stranger put his head underneath a toilet door at Wimbledon station to watch a woman.

British Transport Police are describing it as a voyeurism incident and are now appealing for the public’s help.

On May 2, 2023, at around 11.30pm, the victim was using the toilet at Wimbledon station when a man placed his head under the cubicle door to watch her.

The victim shouted to her friend causing the man to flee the area.

BTP have now released images captured by CCTV cameras as they would like to speak to the man in the pictures in connection with the incident.

Members of the public with any further information are urged to contact BTP by either texting 61016 or calling 0800 40 50 40 and quoting reference 423 of April 30, 2023.

A British Transport Police spokesperson said: "Detectives investigating a voyeurism incident at Wimbledon station are today releasing these images in connection.

"On 2 May 2023 at around 11.30pm the victim was using the toilets when a man put his head under the cubicle door to watch her.

"The victim shouted to her friend and the man quickly left the area. Officers believe the man in the CCTV images may have information which could help their investigation.
