Two teenagers were rushed to the hospital and another taken to hospital with a hand injury after a stabbing in Clapham.

Yesterday (August 17) just before 5.50pm, police were called to Paradise Road to two teenagers who had been stabbed.

A 17-year-old boy had stab injuries and a 15-year-old boy had suffered from a facial injury.

Both were taken to hospital and police have confirmed that their conditions are non-life threatening.

Two ambulance crews, medics in fast response cars and an incident response officer were dispatched to the scene as well as an air ambulance.

Medics arrived within six minutes and rushed two teenagers to hospital after treating them at the scene.

A 17-year-old male was arrested on suspicion of GBH and was taken to hospital for treatment for a hand injury.

He was later discharged and is currently in police custody.

Two crime scenes are in place at Beckett House and Paradise Street.

A spokesperson for London Ambulance Service said: “We were called at 5.47pm yesterday (17 August) to reports of a stabbing on Studley Road, London, SW4.

“We sent multiple resources to the scene, including two ambulance crews, medics in two fast response cars and an incident response officer.

“We also dispatched London’s Air Ambulance.

“Our medics arrived in around six minutes.

“We treated two teenagers at the scene before taking them to hospital as a priority.”

Enquiries are ongoing and police are appealing for anyone with information to come forward.

“Two teenagers were found injured - a 17-year-old boy with stab injuries and a 15-year-old boy with a facial injury - both have been taken to hospital.

“Their injuries are not life threatening.

“Enquiries into the circumstances are ongoing.

“A 17-year-old male has been arrested on suspicion of GBH. He was taken to hospital for treatment to a hand injury – he has been discharged and remains in custody.

“Two crime scenes are in place at Beckett House and Paradise Street.

“The investigation is in its early stages, and officers from Central South BCU CID are developing enquiries for witnesses, CCTV and Forensics.
