On 21st and 23rd November the South West Sutton Division for Rainbows, Brownies and Guides performed a floor show to raise money for a new floor in the guide headquarters. Fortunately there is a stage in the guide headquarters so therefore they were able to perform their show on the stage. During the day the stage crew put lighting up so the stage was lit up by fantastic lighting.
The Division performed a number of acts including singing, dancing and acting. There were a number of songs performed by the Rainbows. From the Brownies we had hits from Hairspray and High School Musical. From the older Guides we had another number from Hairspray and a Mamma Mia medley from the other Guide company.
The South West Division put on three shows, one on Friday night, a Saturday matinee and a Saturday evening performance. 5th Sutton Guides who meet every Wednesday in the Guide headquarters performed an Abba medley, this included Mamma Mia, Dancing Queen and Waterloo. The company was split into three groups: a dance group, a chorus group and a group of soloists. We hope all the girls involved in the performances enjoyed their time on the stage and the audience enjoyed their time watching the show. Hopefully the South West Division raised enough money to re-do their floor in the guide headquarters so they can carry on enjoying their company meetings weekly.
