Liberal Democrat leader Nick Clegg is celebrating the birth of his third son who was born in Kingston Hospital yesterday.
Mr Clegg’s wife Miriam Gonzalez Durantez gave birth to a son, Miguel, at the hospital in Galsworthy Road yesterday.
Miguel is a younger brother to Antonio, seven and Alberto, four and mother and son are both said to be doing well.
Mr Clegg, 42, is the MP for Sheffield Hallam and became the leader of the Liberal Democrat party in December 2007.
He had announced he will take paternity leave to be with his wife and new son. Deputy Lib Dem leader Vince Cable, MP for Twickenham, will fill in for him at Prime Minister’s Question Time.
