A series of award-winning short films from around the world will be shown at the Odeon in Kingston next month, as part of a festival celebrating wellbeing and identity.
The Happy Soul Festival, now in its third year, has been organised by South West London and St George’s Mental Health NHS Trust to raise awareness of mental health issues in minority ethnic communities.
Events are taking place across Kingston, Sutton and Wandsworth from March 26 to April 8.
The evening of films, including the Bafta winning Antonia’s Breakfast and the State of Anxiety, takes place at the Odeon, in Kingston’s Rotunda, on Friday, April 3, from 7pm.
There will also be live poetry readings by Reality and Yusra Warsama. The event is free but advanced booking is recommended.
