THE ROAD TRAFFIC (TEMPORARY RESTRICTIONS) ACT 1991 AND ALL OTHER ENABLING POWERS
CLEVES CRESCENT AND MILNE PARK WEST, NEW ADDINGTON TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF PEDESTRIAN AND VEHICULAR TRAFFIC

1. Croydon Council, HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that to facilitate new service connections they intend to make an Order the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit pedestrian and vehicular traffic movements in Cleves Crescent and Milne Park West, New Addington.

2. Whilst the said works are taking place:-
(a) no person shall proceed along the public footways of:
1) Milne Park West, the south-west side, between the party wall of Nos.12 & 14 Milne Park West and the south-eastern kerb-line of Cleves Crescent;
2) Cleves Crescent, the north-east side, between its junctions with Milne Park West and Overbury Crescent;
(b) no person shall cause any vehicle to proceed in Milne Park West between the party wall of Nos.12 & 14 Milne Park West and the south-eastern kerb-line of Cleves Crescent;
(c) one-way working will be introduced north-westbound in Cleves Crescent from its junction with Milne Park West to its junction with Overbury Crescent;
(d) 'At any time' waiting and loading restrictions would be introduced on the south-west side of Cleves Crescent between its junctions with Milne Park West and Overbury Crescent.

3. Whilst the Order remains in force the alternative route for diverted traffic:
(i) approaching from Homestead Way westbound will be via Homestead Way and Overbury Crescent;
(ii) approaching from Overbury Crescent southbound will be via Homestead Way.

4. The Order will come into operation on 17 August, 2009 and it is anticipated that the works will be carried out in 3 days. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further works be required.
(Vehicular and pedestrian access will be maintained where possible)
