Youngsters struck gold at the weekend as the grounds of Sutton Court estate were turned into a mini-Olympics arena.
Children from the 100-plus flats jumped through hoops, took a hurdles event in their stride and demonstrated ball skills.
Sutton Court - Your Say, a voluntary organisation run by residents, also arranged an organ donation publicity event on the day.
Alex Taylor, the event organiser, said the day was run by Sutton Housing Partnership and the police safer neighbourhood team.
“The hope was to encourage more people to join the donor register,” Mr Taylor said.
