A mother has offered a £1,000 reward for the recovery of designer jewellery worth £20,000 that was stolen from her car.
Agnes Bulman, 41, a saleswoman from Sutton, left the precious items under a seat when she went to dinner last week.
When she returned, she discovered thieves had broken into the vehicle and emptied her jewellery box, which also contained a Cartier watch.
She said: “I gave the jewellery to a friend to look after for a while and, through real stupidity, I took it back on a night when I was going out and would be driving.
“I think I put the items under the seat but when I came back they had been stolen from the locked car.”
Anyone wishing to claim the reward is asked to email newsdesk@sutton guardian.co.uk.
