Dulwich Hamlet will be pleased with promotion to the new-look Ryman Premier Division. But Croydon Athletic dashed Hamlet's hopes of winning the championship after Saturday's draw.

This result comes after an Easter Monday away win at local rivals Croydon FC at the Arena at 2-0 after goals from Gibson on 32 minutes and Jackson on 52 minutes.

On Saturday and the Athletic took on Dulwich Hamlet at home and ended up taking a point in a thrilling 2-2 draw.

The Hamlet drew first blood as early as the third minute when Charlie Side fired home from a free kick. But Gibson levelled on 34 minutes. The second half saw the Rams take the lead for the first time through Leon Johnson. Craig Dundas equalised with 11 minutes to play.

This point coupled with a heavy home defeat by Bromley on Easter Monday 4-0, will have cost Martin Eade and his players the chance of the championship, leaving the Athletic again with no first-team silverware and with two games left a respectable position is what is left for them.

While Dulwich still have a London Senior Cup final to contest in May.

Whyteleafe's up and down season still continues, first they gained sweet revenge against Tooting and Mitcham at home 3-2 on Easter Monday thanks to goals from Graham Harper on 24 minutes and a Mark Tompkins brace on 34 minutes and 45 minutes to end his recent lack of goals.

But the Leafe could not build on that victory once again when they travelled to the in-form Slough Town who are desperate not to be involved in a play-off lottery. The Leafe went down 3-1 but did manage to take the lead when Richard Williams headed home.

Slough Town were back on level terms within a minute when Hodges headed home from a corner.

The Leafe were guilty again of not defending the corner when Hidges headed home his second again from a corner to give the home side the lead at half time.

The second half saw the home side add a further goal when Boot fired home the killer goal four minutes from time. This defeat leaves the Leafe eighth from bottom with two games left to play.

Croydon FC were beaten at home on Easter Monday by Croydon Athletic, who completed the league double to ensure they are Croydon's top side, 2-0.

Croydon FC also lost by 2-0 at Hampton and Richmond on Saturday. But they have escaped relegation.
