Striders of Croydon placed third in the East Surrey League's annual road race at Ewell, lifting them to second in the final league table.
Their leading runner was again Lee Morgan came fifth, covering the four-and-a-quarter mile course in 23min 37sec. Justin Macenhill placed 10th (24.18) while his brother Damian was 22nd (26.23), one place and eight seconds ahead of team-mate Nigel Davidson.
