I refer to Bob Lowe's letter published in the Guardian ( March 31).
I was interested to learn of his group Croydon Residents Against Propaganda and I would like to make another point against Croydon Reports.
In the March issue Hugh Malyan claims that this year's council tax increase will not be much more than a Sunday paper.
The fact remains that for a band D resident this amounts to £79. This follows a 27 per cent rise last year, which was the highest increase in the country.
How much of our money gets spent in producing 100,000 copies of Croydon Reports?
Bob Lowe certainly has a point which I fully endorse.
