Police are hunting three men after a drinker was stabbed in the chest in a pub in Addiscombe.

A fight broke out in the Joiners Arms, where the man had been drinking with friends and family on Saturday evening.

The man, in his thirties, was stabbed in the chest and the stomach during the ruckus.

A spokeswoman for Croydon Police said: "We can confirm police are investigating a serious assault that occurred at the Joiners Arms Public House, Woodside Green, on October 16 at 11.30pm.

"The victim, a man in his thirties, sustained two stab wounds, one to his chest and another to his stomach.

"The suspects made-off from the pub."

The first attacker is described as white, in his late twenties, of stocky build and 5ft 5in to 5ft 8in tall. He had a bald head and was wearing a grey tracksuit and a dark coat.

Another man is also described as white, aged in his late twenties, of stocky build and 5ft 8in tall. He was wearing jeans and a dark jumper.

The last man police are searching for is also described as white, in his late twenties, and around 6ft 6in tall and was wearing a dark hooded top.
