Dancers of all ages are being invited to join a contemporary dance group and put on a performance next year.

The Epsom Dance Group, formed earlier this year, is hoping experienced and beginner dancers will join in and be a part of their performance in Woking in January.

Pupil Jean Ross, 82, from Ashtead said: “This class has been the perfect way to get me moving. The group are friendly and we have a lot of fun. I’m very excited about the opportunity to perform and it will be an amazing celebration of dancers of all ages.”

Rosie Heafford, founder of The Epsom Dance Group said: “This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a celebration of professional and non-professional intergenerational companies. We are looking for enthusiastic Epsom locals to come and share the fun of moving – no matter what your ability or age.”

The project will take place on Tuesdays from November 2 to December 14, during which the new dance piece will be created and rehearsed in collaboration with the dancers.
