Detectives are appealing for witnesses after a man was shot in Tulse Hill.
Officers from the Metropolitan Police's Operation Trident team made the appeal after a shot was fired in Papworth Way at around 7.30pm on Monday, January 3.
A police spokesman said: "Three suspects attempted to force entry into a premises and during the incident a firearm was discharged.
"One man sustained a gunshot wound to the hand as a result of this and is currently being treated in a south London hospital. He is in a stable condition."
