Director of rugby Conor O'Shea has revealed he had to send out the fun police to ensure his Quins didn't enjoy the luxury of the Emirates Palace too much.

Abu Dhabi's flagship seven star hotel occupies a 1.3 km stretch of private beach and boasts 302 rooms and 92 magnificent suites each combining the ultimate in luxury with state-of-the-art technology - not to mention 15 different bars and restaurants.

O'Shea had the beach police on patrol throughout the duration of the five-day trip and - as this picture shows - had a strict time schedule for his men to stick to in Abu Dhabi.

And the Stoop chief's attention to detail paid off in style.

"I didn't enjoy my putting out on the links, but joking aside it is an unbelievable place to come. We have loved it for a few days here," he said.

"But we had to get the beach police out to stop the boys getting out in the sun too much and getting too dehydrated.

"Hopefully we'll be out here many more times, but not necessarily to play rugby."
