Electricity has been restored to homes and businesses in and around Sutton High Street after a power cut earlier today.
UK Power Networks said a fault on an an underground electricity cable meant about 600 customers lost power at 12.34pm today.
A spokesperson said: "UK Power Networks engineers worked to reconnect power supplies in Sutton as quickly as possible.
"Power was restored to more than 300 customers within two minutes and everyone was back on supply in stages by 3.15pm.
"Once again, we are sorry for the inconvenience this caused."
