A MAN has died after he was hit by a train near Bicester North railway station.
Thames Valley Police and the British Transport Police were called to the scene at about 8.51am following the incident involving the 7.36 service from London Marylebone to Bicester North.
Police are treating the death as ‘unexplained’ at this time. The man, who was pronounced dead at the scene, has yet to be named.
The incident is causing major delays to train commuters, with Chiltern Railways warning of hold ups of up to 90 minutes while police investigate.
