Chico Ramos has been rewarded for a fine season between the Leatherhead sticks with an international call-up for the Cape Verde Islands.
The 27-year-old keeper, who helped the Tanners to promotion to the Ryman Premier League via the play-offs, joins the squad for the first time as they prepare for tomorrow's African Cup of Nations qualifier with Liberia.
The Blue Sharks have enjoyed a good start to their Group A campaign and top the table with seven points from three games, ahead of Mali and Zimbabwe.
Should they go through then it will be the first time they have made the finals.
